We are looking for an Accounting Administration Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support for the Superannuation Division. The ideal candidate will help keep operations running smoothly by managing client databases, completing a variety of administrative duties, communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner, and liaising with Australian government agencies to clarify and resolve queries for clients.

As an Associate Admin Assistant, your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the financial planning team to obtain relevant information
  • Calling, emailing and liaising with clients, share registries, and managed funds to obtain relevant information
  • Management of client queries relating to administration matters
  • Management of client databases including Salesforce, BGL, XPM and Xero
  • Collation of client packages using Annature
  • Electronic filing
  • Income Tax Return and Business Activity Statement Lodgement
  • Attending to ad hoc and annual Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) obligations for our clients
  • Attending to all Australian Taxation Office (ATO) correspondences, including phone calls, with the ATO to clarify and resolve queries and issues
  • General financial, administrative and supporting ad hoc tasks

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support.
  • Experience with Australian taxation, ATO/ASIC processes, or Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Salesforce, BGL, XPM) is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client service abilities.
  • High attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and information-gathering skills.
  • Professional, proactive, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Able to work in a fully remote (work from home) environment with a reliable internet connection, suitable home office setup, and availability during Australian business hours.
