As the Practice Manager, your duties and responsibilities include:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Implement and optimize workflows to improve productivity and service delivery.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the practice.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance to senior management.

Service Excellence:

This person will be in charge of the management ensuring the following:

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality services in accounting, bookkeeping, financial review, and ATO compliance.
  • Stay updated on Australian financial regulations, taxation laws, and industry trends to maintain compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage administrative and operational staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.


Client Relationship Management:

This person plays a vital role in the client relationship management with the executive team.

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for their needs.
  • Address client concerns promptly and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services that align with client goals.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop strategies for client retention and satisfaction.

Business Development:

  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the firm’s services.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology or software to improve productivity and client service.
  • Help implement new services, processes, or technologies to stay competitive in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience or prior experience in managing large Accountancy practice or similar business.
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations and ATO compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in various compliance software available in the Australian market.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve operational challenges and client issues.
  • Efficient at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in managing and nurturing client relationships.
  • High level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Ability to leverage technology to improve firm efficiency.
  • Willing to be assigned to Perth office.
